Yesterday Boston celebrated its 115th marathon, the nation’s oldest annual marathon that began in 1897 with 18 participants and now fields 25,000 runners each year. The 26 mile, 385 yard race follows a point-to-point route from rural Hopkinton to downtown Boston. It’s always a great race and this year there were close finishes in all categories and a new world record set in the mens’ race!
If you or someone you know and love competed, what better gift to present them than a custom made, unique Couture Planet Bag, memorializing their achievement? The bag will be fabricated from 100% recycled Boston Globe newspapers commemorating the race. Couture Planet can include their number and finish time as part of the bag’s structure. Call or email today for more information..
Congratulations to the winners — and ALL the runners!
